The Chronic Disease Education Network (CDEN) is an expanded version of the previous Diabetes Education Network (DEN). This network includes over 500 diabetes and chronic disease educators, ranging from community workers to certified educators. Membership is voluntary and open to health professionals and providers in Manitoba and NW Ontario who plan, develop and/or deliver education to people with or at risk for diabetes and other chronic diseases.

CDEN members are provided with information about upcoming continuing education opportunities related to diabetes and chronic disease, including the Manitoba CDEN Workshop held in Winnipeg every 2 years.
