Stretcher Transportation Services Personnel

New Licence:

To be eligible for provincial licensing at the stretcher attendant classification in Manitoba, you must submit a Personnel Licence Application complete with appropriate documentation. Carefully follow the instructions as you fill out the form and note:

  • all costs associated with the application process will be the sole responsibility of the applicant
  • original documents must be provided unless otherwise indicated
  • the following documents are required when submitting your application (for additional information click on the underlined document):
    • Proof of age (must be 18 years old) photocopy will be accepted
    • Criminal Records Check (no more than sixty (60) days old)
    • Child Abuse Registry Check (no more than sixty (60) days old)
    • Standard First Aid / Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate  (current, minimum 16 hour program)
      • Recognized first aid programs can be found on the Workplace Safety and Health website: www.gov.mb.ca/labour/safety/training.html
      • EMR and PCP certificates are accepted in place of Standard First Aid if one of the following conditions are met:
        • Current  technician licence
          or
        • Educational certificate dated within 1 year of application

Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant.

Licence Renewal:

To renew your provincial licence at the stretcher attendant classification in Manitoba, you must submit a Personnel Renewal Licence Application complete with appropriate documentation. Carefully follow the instructions as you fill out the form and note:

  • Original documents must be provided unless otherwise indicated.
  • The following documents are required when submitting your application (for additional information click on the underlined document):
    • Standard First Aid / Basic Cardiac Life Support  certificate  (current, minimum 16 hour program)
      • Recognized first aid programs can be found on the Workplace Safety and Health website: www.gov.mb.ca/labour/safety/training.html
      • EMR and PCP certificates are accepted in place of Standard First Aid if one of the following conditions are met:
