Re-Licensing & Upgrade

Re-licensing

Administrative

Manitoba EMS Personnel that are currently in administrative or educational positions and no longer provide clinical duties on a regular basis may be eligible for re-licensing through their respective roles.  Please contact your employer, EMS supervisor or the Emergency Medical Services Branch for additional information.

Technician, Technician-Paramedic, Technician-Advanced Paramedic

To maintain licensure in the Province of Manitoba, personnel must:

  • submit a Renewal and/or Upgrade Form sixty (60) days prior to license expiration and successfully pass the Licensing Examination for their level of licensure

OR

Aeromedical

To maintain licensure in the Province of Manitoba, personnel must;

  • submit a Renewal and/or Upgrade Form sixty (60) days prior to license expiration complete with current certification in all requirements.

Stretcher Attendant

To maintain licensure in the Province of Manitoba, personnel must;

  • submit a Renewal and/or Upgrade Form sixty (60) days prior to license expiration complete with current certification in all requirements.

To Technician-Paramedic Technician-Advanced Paramedic

To upgrade your license to a new level in the Province of Manitoba, personnel must:

  • submit a Renewal and/or Upgrade Form complete with appropriate documentation and successfully pass the Licensing Examination for their level of licensure

To Pilot

To upgrade your license to a new level in the Province of Manitoba, personnel must:

  • submit a Renewal and/or Upgrade Form complete with appropriate documentation and successfully pass the Licensing Examination for their level of licensure
