Manitobans who became infected with Hepatitis C (HCV) after receiving a transfusion of blood or blood products before January 1, 1986 or between July 1, 1990 and September 28, 1998 in Manitoba may be eligible for a one-time payment of $10,000 through the Manitoba government.

The Pre-1986/Post-1990 Hepatitis C Settlement Agreement is for the benefit of people infected with Hepatitis C through the blood system in Canada prior to January 1, 1986 or between July 2, 1990, and September 28, 1998, and certain members of their families.
