Injury prevention
Manitoba Healthy Living

Most injuries can be prevented with the right knowledge, skills and equipment.  A good place to start is by assessing the risks of each situation, sport or job; taking safety or skills training when needed; and always wearing the right gear.  Making smart choices about daily activities will help keep you and your family safe and healthy.

In 2006 the Government of Manitoba developed Manitoba’s Provincial Injury Prevention Strategy PDF. The Strategy was developed in partnership with stakeholders in injury prevention in Manitoba, and is built on the vision of creating a safe and injury free Manitoba. Working together, we can make this vision a reality.
