Water Safety

Drowning prevention is a priority in our province.  Drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury death for Canadian children and youth 0-19 years of age and the fourth leading cause of injury death for all ages. Together with our partners, the Government of Manitoba is working towards reducing the incidence of death by drowning by promoting water safety and drowning precaution strategies.

Manitoba Water Safety Community Grants Program 2008-2009
