Taking Action was a free conference for school communities and partners to share their stories of how they have moved theory and evidence into practice. It was an opportunity for conference participants to network, share ideas, discover new projects and learn from one another’s experiences. The conference keynote was Doug Gleddie. Doug is an instructor in the Physical Education Department at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, and formerly the executive director of Ever Active Schools Alberta.
