This guide gives information to take part in the co-operative, creative problem solving process of informal dispute resolution. It is intended to serve as a resource support to local school and school division dispute resolution policies and practices.

The ESTEEM Team is a national not-for-profit organization with one main goal - Athletes Inspiring & Educating Kids with face-to-face, interactive presentations geared to youth of all backgrounds in grades 4 - 12, through schools, community centers and sports clubs. A subsidy is available through MPETA.

Financial assistance is available to individuals under 18 who would otherwise not be able to participate in sport, leisure or recreational programming administered by a Community Centre in Winnipeg.

The Kidsport Fund assists children from financially disadvantaged families to enter into organized sport programs throughout Manitoba.

The Sunshine Fund provides support to parents requiring financial assistance so their children can attend summer camp.

The Winnipeg Boys and Girls Clubs offer free recreational and educational activities to children of diverse backgrounds in a safe and challenging environment.

 

Manitoban YMCA-YWCA Website
YMCA-YWCA English

The YMCA-YWCA offers a variety of swimming and fitness programs for men, women, and children.
Services are available to all regardless of ability to pay. Discounted memberships are available to those in situations where financial circumstances are limiting access.
