Several teens tell their compelling stories of self-discovery
and functioning as bipolar individuals. The DVD provides an
inside glimpse into the lives and emotions of these young
people through revealing first-person accounts of awareness
of their illness and how they manage it today. The result
is poignant disclosure that delivers the experience of being
bipolar teens “in their own words.” As the human
face of bipolar disorder, these young people let their peers
with this disorder know they are not alone and foster understanding
among family members, caregivers, educators and mental health
professionals who view the DVD. |
