Manitoba Housing is offering a new Rural Homeownership Program in select Manitoba communities, excluding urban centres where demand for rental housing currently exists. The Program has two unique streams:

| Elphinstone | Oakburn | Woodlands |
| Financial Assistance: | A forgivable renovation loan of up to $16,000 in southern communities and up to $19,000 in northern communities will be available to qualifying households for the purposes of upgrading the home. A sale transaction grant for qualifying households of up to $3,500 for costs relating to land transfers, legal fees, and home inspections. |
