New Tax Credit Supports Job Growth For Manitobans Facing Employment Barriers
The new Neighbourhoods Alive! Tax Credit (NA!TC) will encourage Manitoba corporations to support community groups with charitable status to establish new revenue-generating enterprises, Finance Minister Rosann Wowchuk and Housing and Community Development Minister Kerri Irvin-Ross announced today at the future site of the L'Arche Café, a new enterprise that will employ people with developmental disabilities.

Neighborhoods Alive! Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Funding for Arts and Culture
Creating new and expanded opportunities for communities is the goal of $148,600 in funding from Neighbourhoods Alive! for nine arts and culture-based projects, Housing and Community Development Minister Kerri Irvin-Ross announced today. "This is the 10th anniversary of Neighbourhoods Alive! and, since its inception, government has supported local citizens taking the initiative to revitalize their communities and neighbourhoods," said Irvin-Ross.
