Where a complaint is not dismissed or voluntarily settled through mediation and the Commission is satisfied that further proceedings are appropriate, The Code provides for the referral of such cases to an independent Board of Adjudication consisting of one member selected from a panel of adjudicators which have been appointed by the Lieutenant Governor In Council.
