Community Planning Assistance Program

The Community Planning Assistance Program is available to planning districts and municipalities to financially assist with the preparation of land use by-laws and policies. Assistance includes:

• Up to $5,000 in cost-shared funding to support public involvement in developing a livestock operation policy;
  
  
• Up to $10,000 to support detailed land use information and digital mapping in each rural municipality; and
  
  
• Up to $3,000 per by-law to support municipalities and planning districts in drafting development plans and zoning by-laws.
