What is this program about?
The Community Initiatives Program supports projects that have a broad impact on Winnipeg's inner city or target specific groups across the inner city. It funds activities that enhance economic development, increase safety and prevent crime, reduce at risk behaviour, contribute to better health practices, strengthen tenant-landlord relations and improve coordination and cooperation.
Where
is the program available?
An initiative under this program must involve more than one inner city neighbourhood in Winnipeg and can include inner city neighbourhoods not currently designated by Neighbourhoods Alive!
