Guidelines and Handbooks for Students

The following documents are provided here free of charge for download and print to any Manitoba institution.  They are intended to be used by education institutions and their representatives to assist in preparing international students who have already been accepted to a Manitoba institution, to succeed in their studies and adjust to Manitoba life.  Each document was developed in close consultation with representatives of Manitoba's educational institutions.

The Education Excellence: All you need for a world-class education booklet provides a listing of educational opportunities for international students coming to Manitoba. This guide also provides information about Manitoba and is a useful resource for students and international education professionals.

International student orientation handbooks are available and provide important information to students coming to study in Manitoba schools. Elementary and High School Handbook and the Post-Secondary Handbook each have blank pages included for institutions to include customized information, such as the names of relevant staff and/or contact information for international offices. The document may be modified to include this information in electronic format or in print version.
