CMU is a Christian University . We offer Bachelor of Arts degrees with 15 majors, Bachelor of Church Ministries with 5 concentrations, Bachelor of Theology, Bachelor of Musical Arts with 5 concentrations and a Music Therapy Degree. CMU strives to provide opportunities for students to integrate Christian studies with the knowledge they are gaining in other areas of study.
CMU's average class size is 20. Students receive a top quality education, can participate in dynamic classroom discussions and have regular interaction with their professors. Over 84% of our teaching faculty is educated at the PhD level.
International students are encouraged to be actively involved with the CMU community through on-campus housing, student activities and athletics. The Coordinator of Student Life Programs assists international students by helping them settle into a life in Winnipeg , obtaining health care insurance, assisting with visas, etc. International students have the opportunity to tour Winnipeg and the surrounding area to learn more about the place where they are living and studying. Regular social events are provided for international students to get to know each other and Canadian students better.
While CMU expects students to come with a solid grasp of the English language, we do have some ESL support for students. ESL courses are available to take alongside the regular programming. If students require more one-on-one tutoring, this can also be arranged. CMU is also has connections with other Linguistic schools, should you require intensive language study.

Pre-professional Programs at Canadian Mennonite University for the 2002-03 Academic Year
A year or more of study at Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) could prepare a student to meet the entrance requirements for degree programs of professional faculties or schools at various universities. The following are possible professional areas of study for which one could prepare at CMU:
The following pages provide examples to illustrate the possible contents of such pre-professional programs for students who wish to apply for admission to a professional school or faculty at the University of Manitoba or the University of Winnipeg . Possibilities similar to those outlined below exist for students who intend to pursue studies at another university. However, it is important that the student inquire about admission and program requirements at the professional school being considered and that the student work with the Assistant Dean at CMU to construct a program of studies at CMU that will achieve the student's objectives.
The following fees are based on a student studying full-time (5 courses each semester) for two semesters, September - December and January - April.
