• Evergreen School Division offers the Manitoba curriculum for Kindergarten to Grade 12.
• International students are welcome from Grades 5 to 12.

• Location: Evergreen School Division is located in the Interlake region of Manitoba, 80 kilometres north of Winnipeg. It is a rural school division that borders the shore of Lake Winnipeg. Our division is known for the natural beauty of its beaches and forest areas. We have schools in Arborg, Gimli, and Riverton and Winnipeg Beach.
  
  In the summer we enjoy the beaches and swimming in Lake Winnipeg , boating, fishing, camping, baseball and golf. In winter we have curling, skating, hockey, snowmobiling, and indoor sports for recreation. Hecla Island Park is part of our division and has the best golf course in Manitoba.

• Health Insurance Requirement: Health Insurance is required.
• Student Population: There are 1650 students in Evergreen School Division so we can honestly say that "everyone knows your name" in our schools. Arborg Collegiate - 140, Gimli High School - 320, Riverton Collegiate - 160.
• Study Periods: International students are invited to attend for any length of time. An entire year of study would be September to the end of June. The first semester is September to January and the second semester is February to June. All schools offer credits each semester.

Evergreen School Division offers a variety of educational programs and has a dedicated and caring staff, safe schools and transportation, outstanding student services, state of the art information and communication technologies and excellent curriculum supports. Our students have a long history of academic success and many go on to postsecondary schools.

Extracurricular activities include band, drama, volleyball, basketball, badminton, curling and track and field. International students take part in all school activities and sports and have been very successful in developing their English language skills. Homestay families include students in their family activities. All in all, Evergreen is a great place to go to school.

English Language Instruction is customized to the student through immersion, peer support, computer assisted instruction and tutoring.

Evergreen School Division offers the Manitoba curriculum up to Grade 12.

Tuition and Fees

Full year tuition -September to end of June

- $10,000 ($1000 may be waived if student registers without an agent)

-health insurance and school student fees are additional

- fees may be paid in two installments (before September and before February)

or

Half year (semester) tuition - either September to end of January or February to end of June

-$5000 ($500 may be waived if student registers without an agent)

-health insurance and school student fees are additional and prorated

-fees must be paid before September or before February

Board & room - $500 per month if required (in addition to tuition)

***Tuition quoted is for a full academic load of four courses per semester or eight per year.

***Other academic loads and lengths of stay may be arranged.

Enrollment Information

International students with an intermediate or high level of English language are welcome to apply.
