Study Guide

The Post-Secondary orientation handbook prepares students, who have already been accepted to a Manitoba institution, to succeed in their studies and adjust to Manitoba life.

The Handbook is divided into fifteen sections, containing everything you need to know about living and studying in Manitoba:

  • Pre-Departure Information – what documents and resources you need in order to travel to Manitoba

  • Traveling in Manitoba – entering Canada, travel restrictions, and transportation information

  • Getting Settled in Manitoba – international student orientation, assistance, and housing accommodations

  • Studying in Manitoba – a discussion of what to expect in the classroom and registration information

  • Working During & After Your Program of Studies – opportunities to work and volunteer off-campus

  • Becoming a Permanent Resident of Manitoba after Graduation – the Provincial Nominee Program
