In 2012, Manitoba Growth, Enterprise and Trade launched the Century Business Recognition Award Program. The program celebrates dedicated business owners who have operated businesses in this province continuously for 100 years or more.
Application forms are accepted throughout the year on an ongoing basis. Century Business Recognition Award certificates are presented at events that may be organized by Manitoba Growth, Enterprise and Trade; Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives or other designated office, in conjunction with the applicant. The Program Guidelines are available for download in pdf format.
To be eligible for this program, a business must maintain an office registered in Manitoba and must have operated continuously for 100 years or more. The business must also be in good standing and in compliance with all applicable provincial and federal corporation laws.
Employees, officers or business owners may prepare and submit an application.
