Registering for Work

If you want to be considered for work on the Red River Floodway Expansion Project, you can register with the Floodway Job Referral Service. There are several ways of registering:

• In-person - If you would like to register for work, please contact an Employment Manitoba Centre for more information. The number for Winnipeg residents is 945-0575. If you live in any other part of Manitoba, call toll-free 1-866-332-5077.
• By mail - You can telephone Employment Manitoba in Winnipeg or the toll-free number and ask for a registration package with specific information on jobs for which you qualify. All forms can also be printed from this website.
• By fax - Completed registration forms and all necessary documents can be faxed to your closest Employment Manitoba Centre.

Where to Return Completed Registrations

You can return your completed registration package to any Employment Manitoba Centre via in-person or by mail. If you prefer to fax your registration to one of our Centres, please call 945-0575 in Winnipeg, or toll-free 1-866-332-5077 outside of Winnipeg to obtain the fax number to an Employment Manitoba Centre closest to you.

An Employment Manitoba staff member will review your application, and if your information is complete, they will register you for referral opportunities to work on the project. If any information is missing, Employment Manitoba will contact you. Please note that a copy of the information you provided Employment Manitoba during registration will be forwarded to you for your records.

Note: Refer to the Registration Renewal section in this website for important information on how you must keep your registration active to be eligible for referral for work.
