Candlelight Service of Remembrance

You are invited to attend a Jubilee Candlelight Service of Remembrance honouring Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and those who served.

Transportation will be provided

Complimentary transportation to the cemetery will be provided from the Red River College parking lot on Notre Dame Avenue.

Canada's most significant Military Field of Honour

The Field of Honour is the oldest and largest military interment site in Canada. Over 11,000 veterans are interred in this historic site which is also home to many important military monuments including the only Commonwealth War Graves Commission "Stone of Remembrance" in Canada.

During the service, cadets will place a candle at each of the military monuments and then join veterans and guests at the Stone of Remembrance for the service.

This event is supported by the Manitoba government, Veterans Affairs Canada and the City of Winnipeg.
