JonssonDarlene Jonsson joined the Manitoba Law Reform Commission as Legal Counsel in 2006. Darlene is a graduate of the University of Manitoba (BSW1985) and the University of Toronto (LLB 1989), and obtained a diploma in legislative drafting from the Boston University School of Law (2002). Darlene joined the Commission from Manitoba Justice. Darlene also held the position of Director of Research and Library Services for the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories, and has provided services for the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and PEI governments and governments in Australia in the areas of legal research and policy development and legislative drafting.
Leah F. CravenLeah Craven joined the Manitoba Law Reform Commission as Legal Counsel in June 2007. Leah graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law in 1995 and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1996. She received her B.A. (Advanced) from the University of Manitoba in 1992. Prior to joining the Manitoba Law Reform Commission, Leah worked for the City of Winnipeg Legal Services Division providing litigation services, legal advice and legal research, having previously maintained a general litigation practice at a Winnipeg law firm.
Debra FloydDebra joined the Manitoba Law Reform Commission in February of 2006. Debra replaced Suzanne Pelletier as Administrator. Debra has a number of years experience within the Department of Justice. She acts as Secretary to the Commission, the President and legal staff as well as providing support services to outside consultants. |
