ENTRY Program is your first step to success

The ENTRY Program is a free series of classes that helps newcomers with their English skills and with adjusting to life in Manitoba. You should participate in the ENTRY Program as soon as you can after arriving in Winnipeg.

Location
The ENTRY Program is located in downtown Winnipeg.

Registration
You must go in person to register, Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the program office, 4th Floor - 259 Portage Avenue. (You can also register on Fridays, but the office closes at 1 p.m.) You must bring your immigration papers and Manitoba Health Card.

Teachers
ENTRY Program classes are lead by teachers who are experienced in working with people from other countries. They make learning enjoyable in the classroom and by taking participants to places of interest in the city.

In the ENTRY Program you will learn about:

The program is a great chance to develop a “social network” of friends and professional contacts. (In Canada, having a social network is crucial when you are looking for a job.)
