Who can take English classes? Manitoba residents can take free English classes if they are a:
If you have lived here LESS than three months: Go to the ENTRY Program There you will start to study English and learn about important aspects of daily life in Manitoba. The ENTRY Program will arrange for your language assessment.
If you have lived here MORE than three months: In order to be sent to the English program that is best for you, make an appointment with a language assessor by phoning 943-5387 at the Winnipeg English Language Assessment and Referral Centre. The language assessment simply tests your English skills. You do not need to study.
