This new Red River College program prepares internationally educated nurses to work as registered nurses in Manitoba. The College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba supports this program. It consists of 3 levels:
- Level 1 - Nursing-focused English language training
- Level 2 - Review of nursing skills in a Canadian context
- Level 3 - Clinical Practicum
Level 1
Registration deadline: phone the RRC Language Training Centre at 945-6151 by August 31.
Class date: Sept. 2 to Dec. 19
- for people who have at least a Canadian Language Benchmark Level 6 or equivalent.
- prepares you to take Level 2 and 3 of the bridging program and receive the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba English language requirement.
- develops communication skills including cultural awareness for nursing in Canada free to permanent residents and Canadian citizens born outside of Canada
