A Holiday Message from the Premier of Manitoba

The holiday season is once again upon us, a time for Manitobans to celebrate our many blessings and to look ahead to another great year. As the Premier of Manitoba, I am delighted to extend to you and your family best wishes for a safe and joyous holiday.

Our province is unique thanks to our people and our vibrant communities. At this time of year there are many wonderful celebrations and friendly gatherings taking place in our schools, community centres and places of worship. In a province as diverse as Manitoba - our traditions may vary but regardless of our faiths and customs, a spirit of peace, joy, and inclusion prevails.

The holiday season is a time to reflect and enjoy the blessings in our lives, a time to spend with our families and friends, and a chance to celebrate the year's achievements. It is also important to remember the true spirit of the season - giving back to our loved ones, helping people in need, and giving hope to people who are less fortunate. Manitobans are known throughout the world for our generosity and kindness. This year, as with other years, we should do what we do best, ensuring that everyone is able to experience the warmth and joy of the holidays.

On behalf of my family and my colleagues in the Government of Manitoba, I wish all of you a happy holiday, and best wishes for a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
