Wedding Photos

NO PHOTO REQUESTS: April – September 2012:

Unfortunately due to construction around the grand staircase from April to September 2012, the Department of Infrastructure and Transportation is not accepting photo requests at this time.

Since the Department does NOT take reservations for any other locations within the building, you are encouraged to seek another site for your photos.

If you wish to still take photos inside the Legislative Building, you must call a minimum of two weeks in advance of your event to confirm availability of public areas as there are other events planned in the building.

All bookings must be in writing, fax or email from either:

The Bride or Groom
• Not from photographer, friends etc.
• Not from parents

THE LETTER MUST CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

• Name of Bride and Groom
• Address/Postal Code of Bride or Groom (receive confirmation letter from Head Office)
• The year and the date and time required
• Total number of people who will attend for the photos
• Telephone number where someone may be reached during the day from 8:30 to 4:30
• Photographer’s name if possible

Please Note:

v  30 minutes are allowed per party on the Grand Staircase.

v  No reservations are required for photographs outside the building.

v  The grounds in front of Government House are out-of-bounds from the driveway to Assiniboine Avenue.

v  No Wedding Ceremonies are permitted in the building or on the grounds.
