INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
Bill 34--The City of Winnipeg Amendment and Municipal Amendment Act
Hon. Jack Reimer (Minister of Urban Affairs): I move, seconded by the Minister of
Government Services (Mr. Pitura), that leave be given to introduce Bill 34, The City of
Winnipeg Amendment and Municipal Amendment Act (Loi modifiant la Loi sur la Ville de
Winnipeg et la Loi sur les municipalités), and that the same be now received and read for the first
time.
I would also like to table the message from the Lieutenant Governor recommending this bill to
the House.
