During Oral Questions, Mr. Laurendeau rose on a point of order regarding the use of the word "hypocrisy" by the Honourable First Minister.

And Hon. Mr. Mackintosh having spoken to the point of order,

WHEREUPON Mr. Speaker cautioned the Honourable First Minister,

And the Honourable First Minister voluntarily withdrew his remarks.

Ms. Allan moved, seconded by Mr. Smith (Brandon West):

THAT the following address be presented to His Honour the Lieutenant Governor:

We, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba thank your Honour for the gracious speech addressed to us at this First Session of the Thirty-Seventh Legislature of Manitoba.

And Ms. Allan and Mr. Smith (Brandon West) having spoken,

The debate was, on motion of Mr. Filmon, adjourned.
