(Sessional Paper No. 150) ______________________________ Hon. Ms. Friesen presented: Annual Report of the Surface Rights Board for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2000. (Sessional Paper No. 151) ______________________________ Pursuant to Rule 23(1), Messrs. Penner (Steinbach), Martindale, Schuler, Schellenberg and Faurschou made Members’ Statements. ______________________________ Prior to Orders of the Day, the Honourable Member for Carman rose on a point of order regarding words attributed to him by the Government House Leader on May 19, And Hon. Mr. Mackintosh, Messrs. Rocan and Laurendeau having spoken to the point of order, WHEREUPON Mr. Speaker informed the House he would take the matter under advisement. ______________________________ By unanimous consent, it was agreed to waive Private Members’ Business until further notice. _____________________________
By unanimous consent, the sequence for consideration for estimates, as outlined in Sessional Paper No. 138 tabled on May 17, 2000, was amended in order that the Department of Aboriginal and Northern Affairs be considered in Room 254 for Wednesday, May 24, 2000, only. _____________________________ Mr. Speaker having left the Chair and the House resolving itself into a Committee to consider of the Supply to be granted to Her Majesty; And the House continuing in Committee. ______________________________ The House then adjourned at 5:55 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2000.
