Uhryniuk and others) ______________________________ By leave, the House reverted to "Presenting Petitions". ______________________________ The following petition was presented: Mr. Loewen – Legislative Assembly of Manitoba request that the Premier of Manitoba consider reversing his decision to not support construction of an underpass at Kenaston and Wilkes (A.Wells, ______________________________ Mr. Santos, Chairperson of the Committee of Supply, presented the Report of the Proceedings of the Committee of April 25, 2001 as follows: IN THE COMMITTEE The following Resolutions were adopted: 19.1 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-THREE THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for ABORIGINAL AND NORTHERN AFFAIRS: ABORIGINAL AND NORTHERN AFFAIRS EXECUTIVE $893,100.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 19.2 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding TWENTY MILLION, THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-TWO THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS for ABORIGINAL AND NORTHERN AFFAIRS: ABORIGINAL AND NORTHERN AFFAIRS OPERATIONS $20,382,500.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 19.3 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding THREE MILLION, ONE HUNDRED NINETY-THREE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS for ABORIGINAL AND NORTHERN AFFAIRS: CAPITAL GRANTS $3,193,300.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 19.4 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS for ABORIGINAL AND NORTHERN AFFAIRS: AMORTIZATION OF CAPITAL ASSETS $135,000.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. Hon. Ms. Barrett, the Minister of Labour and Immigration made statement recognizing April 28th as the National Day of Mourning for those who have died in the workplace.
