Mr. Santos, Chairperson of the Committee of Supply, presented the Report of the Proceedings of the Committee of May 14, 2001 as follows: IN THE COMMITTEE In the section of the Committee of Supply in Room 254, on Monday, May 14, 2001, considering the estimates of the Department of Conservation, a voice vote was held on a motion moved by Mr. Maguire recommending that the Minister of Conservation's salary be donated toward infrastructure development aimed at ensuring the safety of Manitobans' drinking water. Whereupon a counted vote was requested and Members sitting in Room 254 and Room 255 returned to the Chamber. A counted vote was held on the motion, which was defeated (17-28). The following Resolutions were adopted: 5.1 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding ONE MILLION, TWO HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSUMER AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS: ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE $1,244,400.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 5.2 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding FIVE MILLION, NINE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSUMER AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS: CONSUMER AFFAIRS $5,917,600.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 5.3 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding TWO MILLION, THREE HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSUMER AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS: CORPORATE AFFAIRS $2,361,800.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 5.4 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSUMER AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS: AMORTIZATION OF CAPITAL ASSETS $233,900.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002.
12.2 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding ONE MILLION, SIX HUNDRED SIXTY-FOUR THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSERVATION: CONSERVATION SUPPORT SERVICES $1,664,500.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 12.3 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding FORTY-SIX MILLION, FIVE HUNDRED NINETY-ONE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSERVATION: REGIONAL OPERATIONS $46,591,300.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 12.4 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding FIFTY-FIVE MILLION, TWELVE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSERVATION: CONSERVATION PROGRAMS $55,012,900.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 12.5 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding FOUR MILLION, ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-FOUR THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSERVATION: ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP $4,164,800.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 12.6 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSERVATION: CLEAN ENVIRONMENT COMMISSION $536,100.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 12.7 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding ONE MILLION, ONE HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSERVATION: INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002.
12.8 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding NINE MILLION, SIX HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSERVATION: INFRASTRUCTURE AND MINOR CAPITAL PROJECTS $9,665,300.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 12.9 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding TWO MILLION, SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY-NINE THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSERVATION: AMORTIZATION OF CAPITAL ASSETS $2,769,900.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002. 12.10 RESOLVED that there be granted to HER MAJESTY a sum not exceeding TWENTY MILLION, FIVE HUNDRED TWO THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS for CONSERVATION: FLOOD PROOFING PROGRAMS $20,502,300.00 for the fiscal year ending the 31st day of March, 2002.
