By unanimous consent, the sequence for consideration of estimates, as outlined in Sessional Paper No. 113 tabled on April 23, 2001, was further amended in order that the estimates of Family Services and Housing and Healthy Child Manitoba be considered in Room 254 for Thursday morning, May 17, 2001, only.

By unanimous consent, the sequence for consideration of estimates, as outlined in Sessional Paper No. 113 tabled on April 23, 2001, was further amended in order that the estimates of Education, Training and Youth be considered in Room 254 for Thursday afternoon, May 17, 2001, only.

Hon. Mr. Mackintosh moved:

THAT the First Report of the Standing Committee on Agriculture be concurred in.

And a debate arising,

And Hon. Mr. Mackintosh, Messrs. Penner (Emerson) and Struthers, Hon. Mr. Gerrard, Mr. Enns, Hon. Ms. Wowchuk, Messrs. Cummings, Maguire and Helwer having spoken,

And the Question being put. It was agreed to, unanimously.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed that the section of the Committee of Supply, sitting in Room 255, would not meet Thursday morning, May 17, 2001 only.

The House resolving into a Committee of Supply.

And the House continuing in Committee, the Proceedings were interrupted at 12:00 p.m. with the understanding that the Committee of Supply would resume following Routine Proceedings.

Mr. Schuler – Legislative Assembly of Manitoba request that the Minister responsible for Manitoba Hydro consider alternative routes for the additional 230KV and 500KV lines proposed for the RM of East St. Paul (J. Niesobisz, G. Kohut, R. Leperre and others)

Mr. Pitura – Legislative Assembly of Manitoba request that the Premier of Manitoba consider reversing his decision to not support construction of an underpass at Kenaston and Wilkes (A. Wiens, S. Zacharias, L. Peters and others)

Mr. Loewen – Legislative Assembly of Manitoba request that the Premier of Manitoba consider reversing his decision to not support construction of an underpass at Kenaston and Wilkes (D. Fawcett, J. McClellan, E. Grzenda and others)

By unanimous consent, the sequence for consideration of estimates, as outlined in Sessional Paper No. 113 tabled on April 23, 2001, was further amended in order that the estimates of Family Services and Housing and Healthy Child Initiative be considered in the Chamber prior to Executive Council for Thursday, May 17, 2001, only.
