The following petitions were presented:

Mrs. Stefanson – Legislative Assembly of Manitoba request that the Premier of Manitoba consider reversing his decision to not support construction of an underpass at Kenaston and Wilkes (T. Penkala, S. Sodonisky, C. Loutchan and others)

Mr. Loewen – Legislative Assembly of Manitoba request that the Premier of Manitoba consider reversing his decision to not support construction of an underpass at Kenaston and Wilkes (A. Ciulei, K. Leuzinger, D. Fidgeon and others)

Mr. Schuler – Legislative Assembly of Manitoba request that the Minister responsible for Manitoba Hydro consider alternative routes for the additional 230KV and 500KV lines proposed for the RM of East St. Paul (B. Kurdydyk, H. Dueck, D. Moser and others)

Mrs. Driedger – Legislative Assembly of Manitoba request that the Premier of Manitoba consider reversing his decision to not support construction of an underpass at Kenaston and Wilkes (H. Steingart, N. Touchette, M. Stubb and others)

By leave, Hon. Mr. Mackintosh moved:

THAT the French title of Bill No. 48 – The City of Winnipeg Amendment (Pensions) Act; Loi modifiant la Loi sur la Ville de Winnipeg (régime de retraite) as it appeared in the Order Paper and when it received First Reading be altered by striking out "retraite" and substituting "pension", and that the First Reading be now deemed to have been passed under the correct French title.

And the Question being put. It was agreed to.
