Hon. Mr. Selinger presented:

Report pursuant to subsections 52.27(1) and (2) of The Legislative Assembly Act for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2001.

During Oral Questions, Mr. Speaker interjected and requested that the words "deliberately misleading" spoken by the Honourable Member for St. Norbert during a point of order raised, be withdrawn,

Mr. Laurendeau withdrew his remarks.

Subsequently, during Oral Questions, Mr. Laurendeau rose on a point of order regarding Beauchesne citation 417 and leader's latitude.

And Hon. Mr. Mackintosh and Mr. Tweed having spoken to the point of order,

WHEREUPON Mr. Speaker ruled that there was no point of order,

From his decision, Mr. Laurendeau appealed to the House,

And the Question being put, "Shall the ruling of the Chair be sustained?"

It was agreed to, on division.

Subsequently, during Oral Questions, Mr. Laurendeau rose on a point of order regarding the words "has no guts" allegedly spoken by the Honourable First Minister.

Hon. Mr. Doer voluntarily withdrew his remarks.

Pursuant to Rule 23(1), Ms. Cerilli, Messrs. Penner (Steinbach), Nevakshonoff and Maguire and Ms. Korzeniowski made Members' Statements.

Bill (No. 20) – The Farm Products Marketing and Consequential Amendments Act/Loi sur la commercialisation des produits agricoles et modifications corrélatives, was concurred in, read a Third Time and passed.

The House resumed the Interrupted Debate on the Proposed Motion of Hon. Mr. Chomiak:

THAT Bill (No. 25) – The Health Services Insurance Amendment and Consequential Amendments Act/Loi modifiant la Loi sur l'assurance-maladie et modifications corrélatives, be now read a Second Time and be referred to a Committee of this House.

And the debate continuing,

And Messrs. Murray and Derkach having spoken,

And leave having been denied to have the matter remain in the name of Mr. Tweed,

And the Question being put. It was agreed to, on division.

The Bill was accordingly read a Second Time and referred to a Committee of this House.

THAT Bill (No. 23) – The Highway Traffic Amendment Act/Loi modifiant le Code de la route, be now read a Second Time and be referred to a Committee of this House.

And the Question being put. It was agreed to.

The Bill was accordingly read a Second Time and referred to a Committee of this House.
