Motions:

Your Committee agreed to the following motion:

That these recommendations on proposed terms of reference, we recommend referral to the Rules Committee of this House.

On motion of Mr. Helwer, the Report of the Committee was received.

Hon. Mr. Robinson, the Minister of Aboriginal and Northern Affairs made a statement regarding Camperville Water Treatment Plant,

Mr. Cummings and, by leave, Hon. Mr. Gerrard commented on the statement.

Hon. Mr. Lathlin, the Minister of Conservation made a statement regarding National Forest Week, May 5 to 11, 2002.

Mr. Enns and, by leave, Hon. Mr. Gerrard commented on the statement.

By leave, Hon. Mr. Smith (Brandon West) introduced Bill (No. 17) – The Cooperatives Amendment Act/Loi modifiant la Loi sur les coopératives, and outlined the purposes thereof, it was read a First Time.

By leave, Hon. Mr. Mackintosh moved:

THAT the title of Bill (No. 12) as it appeared in the Notice Paper of December 6, 2001 and currently on the Order Paper under Introduction of Bills be replaced with "The Consumer Protection Amendment Act/Loi modifiant la Loi sur la protection du consommateur".

 

And the Question being put. It was agreed to.
