Google Maps

Google Maps is a new form of interactive mapping to represent current highway conditions.  Google Maps has a user-friendly interface for panning and zooming.  You can hover over a symbol or click on it to get detailed highway conditions.  Google Maps does not require a plug-in and is available in all browsers.  Recommended for high speed internet connections only.

Classic Static Mapping

The Highway Conditions Maps use color coded lines to represent current highway conditions.  Allows panning and zooming.  Sometimes referred to as static mapping because you cannot click on a line or hover your cursor over a line to get detailed highway conditions.   The Highway Conditions maps require no plug-ins and are available in all browsers.  This is the best option for those who have slower internet connections and still want to see a map.  Zooming and Panning within the map can become very slow on snow event days.
