Administrative Support for Women's Organizations

We provide basic administrative support to organization who works on behalf of women, and do not have regular operating funds. These services include:

• Boardroom for meetings
• Photocopying
• Mailing
• Faxing

Eira "Babs" Friesen Lifetime Achievement Award

The YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg and the Manitoba Women’s Advisory Council are pleased to announce The Eira "Babs" Friesen Lifetime Achievement Award, honouring a woman, who, like Babs, has demonstrated courage, persistence and made a unique contribution to women’s equality.

Lunch and Learn

Join the Manitoba Women's Advisory Council for an hour of information sharing and learning on a variety of topics of interest to women.

Lunch and Learn workshops take place from September to June on a monthly basis. You will find them in various locations in Winnipeg. Learn about resources, services and issues relevant to you. Meet other women with common interests. Bring a brown bag lunch, refreshments are on us!
