Highlights

National Student Entrepreneur Competition - If you are an entrepreneur attending a Canadian university or college full time, or you know someone who is, now is the time to submit your nomination for the 2010 National Student Entrepreneur Competition, operated by ACE and proudly presented by CIBC.  The National Student Entrepreneur competition is the only national competition to focus solely on full time Canadian post-secondary student entrepreneurs. It recognizes and rewards student entrepreneurs from across the country for their dedication and ambition, as well as offers support to ensure the success of their businesses.

Manitoba Mentorships - provides students with the opportunity to explore career possibilities and establish contacts that may lead to employment prospects following graduation.  Employers who are able to provide and average of 8 to 16 hours of part-time, career-related employment per week, during the school term, are offered wage incentives for up to 200 hours of employment.

Part-Time STEP - provides students with part-time employment opportunities within provincial government departments and related organizations.  STEP Services provides a central registration and referral point for students.  Work hours are flexible, during regular business hours, to allow students to meet study demands and work during schools breaks.

Youth Serves Manitoba - engages post-secondary students in meaningful, part-time community service with incorporated non-profit organizations or registered charities.  Students will receive a $500 bursary upon successfull completion of 100 hours of community service hours that can go toward books, tuition or student loans.  Complete the first 100 hours and apply to become eligible for a second bursary.
