The National Aboriginal Youth Strategy is based on the belief that solutions and results can be realized when all stakeholders, including Aboriginal communities, governments and institutions, the private sector, community/voluntary agencies and individuals, work together in true partnership.
To match a mature adult with a same sex child from a one parent home for the purpose of friendship and companionship. Seven programs: WInnipeg, Brandon, Morden/Winkler, Minnedosa, Neepawa, Portage, Selkirk
Youth Leadership Scholarship provides $500 scholarships to Grade 12 students who have done meaningful leadership and citizenship volunteer activities during the past year that contribute to healthy living in their communities and schools.
MB4Youth Advisory Council provides up to 15 young people, between the ages of 15 to 24, with the opportunity to give feedback on youth programs, participate in youth conferences and events, help with youth communication strategies and co-ordinate various youth projects.
