Universities


Brandon University

Brandon University offers undergraduate courses in liberal arts and sciences, education as well as graduate courses in music and rural development. It also offers nursing and health studies. BU is the administrative home of Campus Manitoba, which is a "virtual post-secondary educational system." Students can take on-line courses no matter where in the world they live.


Canadian Mennonite University

Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) is an innovative Christian university chartered by the Province of Manitoba that welcomes students of all backgrounds from around the world. CMU offers students close to 30 majors/concentrations within four degree programs (Arts, Church Ministries, Theology and Musical Arts). Menno Simons College offers majors in International Development Studies and Conflict Resolution Studies in affiliation with the University of Winnipeg. Outtatown is a one-year program of adventure, study and service through the Canadian Rockies, Guatemala, South Africa or Thailand.


College universitaire de Saint-Boniface

College universitaire de Saint-Boniface is Manitoba`s only francophone university. CUSB offers degrees in arts, science, business administration and education at the undergraduate and graduate levels. CUSB also offers Internet-based courses in translation, psychology, Canadian studies and biology.


University College of the North

The University College of the North is an institution devoted to community and northern development and reflects the Aboriginal reality and cultural diversity of northern Manitoba.

The University College of the North (UCN) has two main campuses...The Pas and Thompson, complete with a full range of services. In addition, the College has six regional centers which are located in Churchill, Cross Lake, Easterville, Flin Flon, Swan River, and Split Lake. UCN''s geographical intake area is almost 80% of the total area of Manitoba.


University of Manitoba

University of Manitoba is the largest and most comprehensive university in the province. It offers undergraduate liberal education in arts, science and education as well as programs in a broad range of professional studies, applied sciences and fine and performing arts.


University of Winnipeg

University of Winnipeg offers undergraduate and selected graduate programs in the liberal arts and sciences, culminating in such degrees as arts, science, education, and theology.


Youth Serves Manitoba

Youth Serves Manitoba encourages post-secondary students to do meaningful, part-time community service with non-profit or registered charitable organizations. Upon successful completion of 100 hours of service, students will receive a $500 bursary for tuition costs or student loan repayment. Students who have completed 100 community service hours may also be eligible to receive a second $500 bursary.
