William H. Cockburn

At Work and Play

In the 1920’s William was employed as a grain merchant and worked for a time in Montreal. Although he spent his days in the world of finance his spare time was spent playing hockey. He played on the Royal Bank team that won the Commercial League Championship in the 1924-25 season. During his time in Montreal he also played for the Montreal Victorias.
