William H. Cockburn

Early Manitoba Hockey

William Cockburn and the Winnipeg Hockey Club are part of a long history of hockey in Manitoba. As a sport and a social activity it has long been a beloved part of our Manitoba winters. From a pick-up game on the river to cheering on our hometown heroes as they compete locally or internationally, it is hard not to associate hockey with Winnipeg and Manitoba.
