William collected memorabilia, photographs and clippings throughout his meteoric rise to the pinnacle of sporting success at the 1932 Olympics and assembled a scrapbook of his hockey career. The scrapbook and photos were donated to the Archives of Manitoba by William Cockburn’s wife Peg after his death on March 21, 1975. This collection forms the basis for our exhibit on William H. Cockburn.
