A family business

By 1826, 18-year-old Alexander Kennedy junior was also working for the company as a clerk at Albany, writing and doing whatever other jobs needed to be done around the post. Although much of his time was likely spent attending to administrative matters, it seems Chief Factor Alexander Kennedy still preferred to pass his days hunting whenever possible. Both Kennedy men regularly made the relatively short trip south to Moose Factory to procure supplies or assist there when necessary.
