Nimowin Trail Guided Hike
September 8, 2018
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Location: Interpretive Workshop (at the end of Nimowin Road)
Join the Park Interpreter for a special Grandparent's Day guided hike, as we use the Agents of Discovery app to explore the animals, plants and habitats found along the 1.8 km Nimowin Trail.

Halloween at the Hill
October 13, 2018
6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Location: Birds Hill Park Ranch
Calling all ghosts and goblins! Join us for a raptor rendezvous on the trails in search for the hidden owls. Wear your costume and don't forget your flashlight!  Other activities include face painting, crafts, a bonfire and a haunted forest. For a small fee, the Birds Hill Park Ranch will be offering hay rides throughout the event. Visit with special guests, Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre, and their wildlife ambassadors to get an up-close encounter with some real raptors!

Nature Detectives Preschool Programs
September 19; October 17; November 21 & December 19
Location: Interpretive Workshop (at the end of Nimowin Road).
Enjoy fun games, crafts, songs and a healthy snack while learning more about the outdoors and discover the animals and plants that call Birds Hill Provincial Park their home. 
Nature Detectives programs are designed for preschool children ages 3-5 and their caregivers. Younger siblings welcome. An adult must accompany all children.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Call 204-654-6739 or email Lindsey.Mitton@gov.mb.ca. Two program times are offered each day - please choose either the morning (10 – 11:30 a.m.) or afternoon program (1:30 – 3 p.m.) to attend:
