Hunter and Angler Preference Survey

Manitoba Sustainable Development is seeking input on a number of hunting and angling topics. Your feedback will help inform future management actions. The Wildlife and Fisheries Branch has created three short surveys related to big game hunting, game bird hunting and recreational angling. Anyone who is interested can complete one or more of these surveys. However, each survey should only be completed once. Every submitted survey needs a valid email address to be accepted.

The surveys have about half a dozen questions, each with background information and example perspectives. Please indicate your preference by marking one of the three choices that follows each question and feel free to provide any additional comments. The links to the three surveys are found below.

Please note: A sub-sample of hunters and anglers have been randomly selected from branch databases and mailed a hard copy of the survey. If you receive a hard copy survey, please do NOT to complete the online version.

Online surveys will be accepted until November 30, 2017. A survey summary will be made available in 2018 and posted on this page.

Feedback received from the surveys will be incorporated into the current branch angling and hunting seasons' review process.
