The Manitoba government is pleased to partner with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and promote their WaterSense label in our province.
WaterSense is a label program that helps you select indoor products such as faucets and toilets, and outdoor products such as irrigation controllers that use less water and save on water bills without sacrificing performance. Products with a WaterSense label have been certified by an independent third-party to meet the EPA's criteria and performance values.
Manitoba is no stranger to conserving water. In 2010, plumbing code changes raised water efficiency standards for showerheads, aerators and faucets. Changes also required a maximum six-litre flush for toilets used in new construction and major renovations.
WaterSense partnership is a positive step toward ensuring sustainable water supplies in Manitoba.
Look for the WaterSense label today. Find out how easy it is to be water wise.
