Duck Mountain - Lake Agassiz

Upper & Lower Campbell Beaches along the Manitoba Escarpment at Duck Mountain

Introduction: 

Along the Manitoba Escarpment, beaches from glacial Lake Agassiz are clearly evident. Generally composed of sand and gravel, these ridges are about 5 metres in height and were formed about 9500 years ago.
