Exam Information

Regularly scheduled exam sittings are available in all trades and are open to apprentices, trade qualifiers and clients from Inspection and Technical Services Manitoba. Select the time and location that is best for you.

How to Schedule an Exam Sitting

Apprentices:
Apprentices who complete their final level of technical training after September 1st, 2011 will be given an Exam Application by Apprenticeship Manitoba.  Apprentices can then indicate the time and location they wish to write their exam on the application, and return it to Apprenticeship Manitoba for scheduling.

Trades Qualifiers:
Beginning July 4th, 2011, Trades Qualifiers may choose the time and location for their exam(s) on and after September 1st, 2011.  Pending approval of qualifications by Apprenticeship Manitoba, Trades Qualifiers will be notified of their exam eligibility and sent an Exam Application.  Trades Qualifiers can then indicate the time and location they wish to write their exam on the application, and return it to Apprenticeship Manitoba for scheduling.

Inspection and Technical Services Manitoba:
Beginning July 4th, 2011, Inspection and Technical Services Manitoba clients may choose the time and location for their exam(s) on and after September 1st, 2011.  Clients must first submit payment and Exam Application to Inspection and Technical Services Manitoba.  Clients can indicate the time and location they wish to write their exam(s) on the application.  Inspection and Technical Services Manitoba will forward the application to Apprenticeship Manitoba for scheduling.

Clients must apply a minimum of one month in advance of the exam date.  Scheduling of examinations is done on a first come, first serve basis subject to availability.
